Summon will suspend driver accounts pending further investigation if an issue arises where there is reason to suspect that a driver has violated one of our zero-tolerance policies related to the following:
- Drugs/alcohol – Drivers can not use alcohol or drugs while driving for Summon.
- Abuse/misconduct/violence – Drivers can not engage in any form of abuse, inappropriate conduct, or violence while driving for Summon.
- Underage riders – Children (under 18) are not permitted in Summons without being accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Service animal refusal – It is Summon policy for all personal drivers to accommodate riders with service animals unless written documentation from your medical provider of an allergy or other medical condition is provided to us in advance. Pursuant to SFMTA rules, the same policy applies to Summon taxi drivers.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding any of these policies, please send us a line!
